Problems with Permute 1.3.11 (571) working with iDentify

I use a program called iDentify to tag files after conversion. In the past, about 1 in 20 files would load into iDentify but they would not be saved after being tagged. Ever since I have upgraded to the current version of Permute, about 1/3 of the files cannot be tagged. In addition, saving each file takes a very long time (on the order of a minute or more for longer files).

The reason I suspect that this is a Permute issue is

1) Files created by Handbrake or iSkysoft Medie Convertor always save correctly and instantly when tagged with iDentify.
2) The problem has gotten a lot worse with the latest Permute builds.

I am running 10.7.4

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

   you definitely don't have to purchase anything again. If you have purchased Permute via our web store, then you'll get an update as before. If that update doesn't work, I'll give you a free promo code for the AppStore so that we can see if it fixes it.

   Howdy. I was just wondering if you had had a chance to work on this yet. I really miss using Permute. Its so much better then anything else out there.

   have you tried the latest version? Some users who have reported similar issues reported it has fixed, or at least significantly improved these issues. Alternatively, here's the latest beta:

   I can't download that version (I get an xml error), but I am getting some good but mixed results with 1.3.11 (593).

   The app is working again, but movies take literally about 20 minutes to save when I try to tag them with iDentify. Shorter videos take a couple of seconds.
