Does Permute support Elgato'S Turbo 264, both old SD and new HD version? I know RoadMovies does but would love to switch to Permute for its ease of use.

    Hi,

RoadMovies uses a QuickTime engine - that's what's Elgato built for. Permute, on the other hand, uses FFmpeg, which is often faster than QuickTime with Elgato. Elgato doesn't publish ways for other engines to hook up to it, so it's very unprobable that it will be supported in the future.

    Best,

    Krystof

Thanks Krystof for this informative reply. Wasn’t aware of the differences. I suggest you add a descriptive line to your product’s homepage… it is a good selling point…:)

    All the best,
